LEGO set 71387, Adventures with Luigi Starter Course, is part of the Super Mario theme and was released in 2021. With 280 pieces, it provides a Luigi focused play base for the interactive LEGO Super Mario system.

This set places Luigi at the centre of the LEGO Super Mario experience, using a modular course format rather than a fixed display scene. Within the Super Mario theme, it functions as a starting point for building a playable route inspired by the video game licence.

Its buildable course elements can be arranged and adjusted, supporting a play pattern based on movement through constructed sections.

It is aimed mainly at builders who want the play features of LEGO Super Mario, while also being relevant to collections focused on the main characters of the licence. Among sets in the same theme, it is best understood as the Luigi centred starter course rather than an expansion pack.
