LEGO set 71388, “Boss Sumo Bro Topple Tower Expansion Set”, belongs to the Super Mario theme and was released in 2021. With 231 pieces, it depicts a tower connected to Boss Sumo Bro within the modular LEGO Super Mario range.

Set 71388 sits within the LEGO Super Mario theme, a range built around modular scenes and challenges inspired by the Mario universe. Its subject is a tower associated with Boss Sumo Bro. The model is therefore best understood as a challenge scene for the theme rather than as a neutral background build.

The set contains 231 pieces. The build focuses on the tower structure and theme related scenery. The official English title points to a topple tower concept, so the model can be described as action oriented without adding unsupported details about its mechanism or play sequence.

This set is relevant for collectors of LEGO Super Mario and for builders who want to extend a themed layout. Within the range, its identity comes from the boss subject and the vertical tower build. It can be displayed as a compact scene, but it is most naturally placed alongside other Super Mario modules in a larger collection.
