LEGO set 71391, Bowser's Airship Expansion Set, depicts Bowser’s flying airship within the Super Mario theme. Released in 2021, it contains 1152 pieces and belongs to the expansion set range associated with the interactive setting of the licence.

This model focuses on Bowser’s Airship, a subject tied to the airborne settings and villain themed scenes of Super Mario. Within LEGO Super Mario, it is positioned as an expansion, intended to add a new setting to a wider play layout rather than serve as a starter set.

The build is centred on the shape and presence of the airship, providing a large themed structure that can be placed within a Super Mario course or displayed as a Bowser related model.

It suits builders who want a substantial Super Mario scene for display, play, or collection. Among sets in the same theme, it is defined by its subject matter: a Bowser vehicle and airborne setting, rather than a ground based course section.
