LEGO Icons 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck

LEGO set 76989, “Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck”, depicts the Tallneck from the video game Horizon Forbidden West. It belongs to the Icons theme, was released in 2022, and contains 1222 pieces, with the Aloy minifigure included.

This model recreates the Tallneck, one of the most distinctive machines from the world of Horizon Forbidden West. Within Icons, it stands apart through its video game subject matter and its focus on a collectible build rather than a conventional vehicle or isolated play scene.

The build uses 1222 pieces and concentrates on the machine’s tall, slender profile. Mechanical detailing and the characteristic form of the Tallneck are handled through compact subassemblies, with the finished model clearly oriented toward display.

The set is aimed primarily at builders who want a LEGO representation of Horizon Forbidden West for display, while still allowing a simple character scene with Aloy. In the Icons theme, it occupies a specific position by combining a contemporary video game licence with a self-contained model that is immediately identifiable on its own.
