LEGO Porsche sets compared: Technic, Icons and Speed Champions by size
The LEGO Porsche range in our database runs from 2015 to 2026 across three themes. Pick Technic for a big display car, Icons for the road-going 911, Speed Champions for something small, cheap and with minifigures. Size decides everything here, so start there.

Technic takes the big builds, Speed Champions takes the small ones
Our database lists 14 LEGO Porsche sets between 2015 and 2026. Three themes share them. Technic goes big, Speed Champions goes small and cheap, and Icons has a single entry in the middle. Choose the theme for what you want on the shelf, then choose the set by size.
The spread is wide. The largest is 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS at 2,704 parts. The smallest listed is 75910 Porsche 918 Spyder at 154 parts. Everything else sits between those two.
All prices below are launch retail prices as recorded by Brickset. They are not what anyone pays today. The on-sale dates come from our database, and we only say a set is still on sale when its dates allow it.
The 2,704-part GT3 RS is the flagship, and its sale window closed in 2018
42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS came out in 2016 with a launch retail price of $299.99 / £259.99. It has 2,704 parts and no minifigures. Its sale ran from June 2016 to December 2018. It is the biggest LEGO Porsche in our database by a clear margin, about 1,100 parts ahead of the next one.
That next one is 42096 Porsche 911 RSR, with 1,580 parts and no minifigures. It launched at $179.99 / £169.99, on sale from January 2019 to December 2024. It is the second-largest Technic Porsche, and the launch price is much lower than the GT3 RS.
If you want the biggest Porsche LEGO has made, it is 42056. The sale dates say it ended in 2018, so you should not plan around finding it on a shelf. If you want a large Technic 911 with a more sensible footprint, 42096 does the job with about 1,100 fewer parts.
The Icons 911 Turbo & Targa sits between the two big Technic cars
10295 Porsche 911 Turbo & 911 Targa is the only Icons Porsche in our database. It dates from 2021 and has 1,458 parts and no minifigures. The launch retail price was $169.99 / £149.99. It has been on sale since March 2021, and our database shows no end date.
Look at the price next to the Technic sets. 42176 Porsche GT4 e-Performance launched at the same $169.99 / £149.99 but has 834 parts. For that money, the Icons car gives you a lot more bricks. The name lists two versions, Turbo and Targa, so you are not buying a single body style.
This is the one to pick if you want a road-going 911 rather than a race car. Almost every other set in the range is a racer: the RSR, the GT3 R, the GT4, the 99X, the 963, the 919. The Icons 911 is the exception, and we like it for that.
The 2026 GT3 R packs 1,313 parts at a lower launch price than the GT4
42224 Porsche 911 GT3 R REXY AO Racing Car is the newest Technic Porsche. It went on sale in January 2026 with 1,313 parts and no minifigures. The launch retail price was $149.99 / £129.99, and our database shows no end date.
Compare it with 42176 Porsche GT4 e-Performance from August 2024. That set has 834 parts and launched at $169.99 / £149.99. The GT3 R has about 500 more parts for a lower launch price. The GT4 is listed on sale until December 2026. That is later than today, so the end is only announced, not reached.
At the small end of Technic, 42137 Formula E Porsche 99X Electric has 422 parts. It launched in 2022 at $49.99 / £44.99 and was on sale from January 2022 to December 2023. It is the lowest entry price among the Technic Porsches, though its sale window has closed.
Speed Champions is the only theme here with minifigures
Every Technic and Icons Porsche in our database has zero minifigures. The Speed Champions sets have between one and five. The biggest is 75876 Porsche 919 Hybrid and 917K Pit Lane from 2016: 743 parts, 5 minifigures, $69.99 / £74.99, on sale from March 2016 to December 2017. Next comes 75912 Porsche 911 GT Finish Line from 2015, with 573 parts, 4 minifigures and $49.99 / £39.99.
In the middle sits 75888 Porsche 911 RSR and 911 Turbo 3.0, with 398 parts, 3 minifigures and a launch price of $29.99 / £34.99. Its name promises two cars. Then come the newer single cars. 77239 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Super Car has 351 parts and one minifigure. It launched in August 2025 at $26.99 / £22.99, and our database shows no end date. 76916 Porsche 963 has 283 parts and launched at $24.99 / £19.99, on sale from March 2023 to December 2024.
The three smallest sets all launched at $14.99 / £12.99, each with one minifigure. 75895 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 has 180 parts and was on sale from August 2019 to July 2021. 75887 Porsche 919 Hybrid has 170 parts and ran from March 2018 to December 2018. 75910 Porsche 918 Spyder has 154 parts and ran from March 2015 to December 2016. Of the Speed Champions sets, only 77239 has no end date in our database.

Our picks, by need. For a big Technic racer with a sale window that has no end date in our database, take 42224 Porsche 911 GT3 R REXY AO Racing Car. For a road-going 911, take 10295 Porsche 911 Turbo & 911 Targa. For a small, recent set with a minifigure, take 77239 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Super Car.
For the cheapest way in on Technic, 42137 Formula E Porsche 99X Electric has the lowest launch price of the Technic sets, but its sale ended in December 2023. For a mid-sized Speed Champions with several figures, the 2015 and 2016 sets are the ones, but their sales ended in 2016 and 2017.
The full list is under all LEGO Technic sets.
Our take
The LEGO Porsche range is well spaced. You can find a set at almost every size, from 154 parts to 2,704, and each theme has a clear job. Technic takes the display racers, Icons takes the road car, Speed Champions takes the minifigure fans. We have few complaints about the design of the line-up.
The weakness is time. The biggest and most interesting sets, like 42056 and 42096, have sale windows that closed in 2018 and 2024. Among current picks, 42224 and 10295 are the ones to look at, and 77239 for a small set. That is a strong short list.
