LEGO Technic 42066 Air Race Jet

LEGO Technic 42066 Air Race Jet depicts a jet aircraft built for air racing within the Technic theme.

Air Race Jet is part of LEGO Technic, a theme focused on mechanical structures, beams and function led building methods. The subject is a racing jet aircraft, so the aircraft is presented as a technical model rather than as a minifigure scale scene.

Its build uses Technic elements to create an identifiable fuselage, wings and tail section.

It suits builders who want a displayable vehicle and enjoy the construction style of Technic sets. In a Technic collection, it sits among aircraft based subjects, providing a contrast to road vehicles and construction machinery from the same theme. It is therefore useful for broadening a vehicle focused Technic display.
