Set 42070 represents a 6x6 tow truck intended to suggest recovery work away from ordinary roads. Within Technic, it fits the long running emphasis on functional vehicle subjects, where the visible structure, bodywork and chassis are part of the appeal.

The build covers the cab, main truck body, rear towing area and the Technic framework needed to give the vehicle its heavy service character.

It is suited to Technic builders who collect service vehicles, off road subjects or large truck models.
