LEGO set 71397, “Luigi's Mansion Lab and Poltergust Expansion Set”, represents a lab and the Poltergust connected with Luigi’s Mansion in the Super Mario theme.

This set belongs to the LEGO Super Mario theme and brings in a Luigi’s Mansion setting through a lab and the Poltergust equipment. It is an expansion set, so its role is to add a themed scene to the wider Super Mario system rather than to stand as a conventional building model.

The build is a compact module made from 179 pieces.

The set is suited to collectors mapping the Super Mario range by setting, especially the Luigi’s Mansion related releases. On display, it works as a small lab vignette. For play, it is best understood as one of the theme’s expansion sets, positioned alongside other modules that broaden a Super Mario layout.
