LEGO 71400, Big Urchin Beach Ride Expansion Set, depicts a beach scene within the Super Mario theme. Released in 2022, the set contains 536 pieces and belongs to the expansion range designed to extend a brick-built play course.

Set 71400 is part of the LEGO Super Mario theme and focuses on a beach area built around the Big Urchin subject. It fits the modular structure of the line, where separate builds represent sections of a larger course.

Its build is therefore centred on scenery, course elements and the beach setting rather than on a character figure provided as the main content.

It is most relevant to collectors and players who already organise LEGO Super Mario layouts and want to add a coastal section. For display, it works as a themed segment, while within the theme it is best understood as an expansion set placed alongside related Super Mario models.
