LEGO Super Mario set 71412, Big Bad Island Expansion Set, depicts an expansion island for the Super Mario universe.

Big Bad Island Expansion Set belongs to the LEGO Super Mario range as a scenery and play module. Its subject is an island setting tied to the Super Mario licence, designed to extend an existing layout with another themed area rather than to stand mainly as a character based set.

The build uses 354 pieces.

This set is suited to builders expanding a LEGO Super Mario course, arranging a themed display, or adding to a collection focused on the theme. Among other Super Mario sets, it is positioned as an expansion with an island subject, intended to connect conceptually with the broader play environment of the range.
