LEGO Ninjago 71713 Empire Dragon

LEGO Ninjago set 71713, Empire Dragon, depicts a mechanical looking dragon tied to the digital setting of the series. Released in 2020, it belongs to the Ninjago theme and contains 295 pieces, with 3 minifigures connected to this story arc.

Empire Dragon sits within the Ninjago storyline built around a digital world, Unagami, and the Digi versions of the ninja. The model presents the dragon as an Empire creature, with an angular, artificial look rather than the more organic style used for many elemental dragons in the theme.

The build uses 295 pieces to create a compact dragon model intended for general action posing and play. The minifigure selection is specific: Lloyd / Digi Lloyd with katana holders, Kai / Digi Kai with shoulder armor, and Unagami. Together, they establish the central confrontation represented by the set without needing additional characters.

This set is suited to Ninjago collectors who focus on character variants, digital era designs, or dragon based models. It can be displayed as an Empire creature or used in play scenes involving the Digi ninja. Within the wider theme, it fits alongside the vehicles, opponents, and creatures from the same digital storyline.
